World Premiere - "Vital Sines" w/ US Navy Band

The United States Navy Band is thrilled to return to Rachel M. Schlesinger Concert Hall for a special collaboration with the dynamic, Grammy Award-winning sextet, Eighth Blackbird. Together, we will premiere "Vital Sines," a new work by Vietnamese-American composer Viet Cuong, who's music has been performed nationwide by ensembles such as the New York Philharmonic, the Atlanta Symphony and the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra. Other concert selections include marches and patriotic fare, and a special selection performed by Eighth Blackbird.

The performance takes place April 9 at the Rachel M. Schlesinger Concert hall on the campus of Northern Virginia Community College in Alexandria, Virginia.

The concert is free, no tickets required.
